It’s like finding $125 in your glovebox!
I was cleaning out the “office” at my house yesterday. I noticed a piece of mail from Honda that had been laying on the desk for months. I was pretty sure I had read it before and it wasn’t important. I started to crumple it up, but then I stopped myself and decided to re-read it. It was a claim form for a class-action lawsuit regarding defective rear brake pads. WAIT, I just had to replace those a few weeks ago! I scramble to my car and reach in the glovebox and found the receipt! I checked out the website for the suit, and it read “claims will be processed beginning September 9, 2010”. I did my research and I qualify for the settlement! And to think I almost threw that away!
